The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Parade is a free parade that takes place on Magazine Street and St. Charles Avenue.
The parade features marchers and riders throwing green beads, doubloons, onions, potatoes, cabbage, and carrots and begins on the corner of Felicity and Magazine streets around 1 p.m.
